이 책은 간단한 일상 회화표현부터 장문독해와 주제토론으로까지 영어회화실력을 키울 수 있도록 구성되었다. 총 4개의 course로 이루어진 이 책의 1st course와 2nd course에서는 일상생활과 관련된 표현들로 영어를 숙련하도록 기본 문형과 일상회화 훈련을 중점적으로 다루고 3rd course 와 Last course는 심화과정으로 자신의 견해를 설득력 있게 말할 수 있도록 주제대화, 주제토론 훈련법을 담고 있다.

빙햄턴 뉴욕주립대에서 경영학을 전공했고 월간 리쿠르트 토익따로 회화따로의 칼럼니스트로 활동했다. 인터넷 만화 공포의 외인구단, 남벌등을 영문으로 번역했고 Teleducation 대표와 Comell Language School 원장을 지냈으며, 현재 Virtual Tech Korea의 기획이사이다. 저서로는「될 때까지 연습하는 영어 초보탈출 30분」과「될 때까지 연습하는 영어 회화훈련 30분」이 있다.
